I never considered the practical dangers of having a teenager in my head. I almost feel like I should child-proof the apartment.
Or have myself committed.

Um, at the risk of sounding lame, are any X-Men doing anything tonight? Megan, do you have plans? Allen here has a pretty nice place, if people wanted to come over, or anything.
Oh yeah, and I know Allen is really bad about like, acknowledging me and stuff, so I guess I should make sure everyone knows who I am. Josh Foley. Elixir. The gold one.

Sanjay Gupta, huh? Guess it just goes to show that anymore, you have to be a celebrity in order to hold any sort of public office. Sort of discouraging, actually.

I'm not looking forward to working tomorrow. Of all of the holidays, New Year's Eve is always the most depressing in the ER. The majority of the people we'll see are those who went out to have a good time, and either due to their bad choices or the bad choices of other people, end up in an ambulance. Some of them end up dead.
So without trying to sound like a downer, try and be safe out there tomorrow night.

Got back from Christmas in California last night, after having my flight delayed and canceled four different times. Which is just about enough time for my mother to find 400 new casual ways to ask me when she's going to have grandkids. I have to admit, there were a few moments when I was tempted to say, "Well, there's a teenage boy living in my brain, Mom, would you like to have have him?"
At least being back in New York, surrounded by the legitimately insane, I feel a little bit better. Hope you all had Merry Christmases.
